McLean McGown was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, in a family of multi-generational architects, where conversations about homes, design, and the way spaces shape our lives were a natural part of everyday life. That early exposure fostered a lifelong appreciation for architecture, thoughtful design, and the emotional significance of home.
After moving to Los Angeles more than 22 years ago, McLean deepened her connection to real estate while experiencing many of the city’s most vibrant communities firsthand. She has lived throughout Los Angeles—including Echo Park, Silver Lake, Koreatown, Hancock Park, West LA, Pacific Palisades, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, and Laguna Beach—giving her a broad and nuanced understanding of the diverse neighborhoods that make Southern California such a special place to live.
McLean approaches real estate with one core purpose: helping clients feel confident, empowered, and supported as they move into their next chapter. Whether working with buyers or sellers, she believes that every real estate transaction represents a meaningful life transition and deserves both careful guidance and thoughtful strategy.
Her perspective was profoundly shaped when the Pacific Palisades fire destroyed her own home and deeply impacted the entire community she loved. Experiencing firsthand the vulnerability and uncertainty that can accompany major life events reinforced her belief in the importance of having a knowledgeable, trustworthy, and genuinely invested advocate by your side.
Before entering real estate, McLean spent more than 15 years working as a birth, postpartum, and death doula as well as a motherhood coach, supporting families through some of life’s most profound transitions. Having guided countless individuals worldwide through moments of change—from birth to end-of-life—she brings a rare combination of empathy, calm presence, and clarity to her work.
McLean believes that buying or selling a home is one of life’s most significant transitions, and she is deeply committed to helping her clients navigate that journey with confidence, care, and integrity.
Now based in Hidden Hills, McLean serves clients throughout Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Malibu, and the greater Los Angeles area.
