The neighborhood, which twists toward the Pacific Ocean, is home to about 25,000 residents across 23 miles. Part of that land is State Park, and the neighborhood itself has some of the least densely populated land in the county.
Residents here enjoy a variety of State Parks in their backyard. From the Santa Mountains and Temescal Canyon Park in the North and West, to the canyons visible from many houses in the neighborhood, living here is like living in a natural oasis right by the city. There’s easy access to major highways, which aren’t too loud because they’re surrounded by beaches and nature.
Pacific Palisades lives up to its name. The neighborhood is full of major Hollywood Celebrities and musicians. Naturally, this gives many of the homes a private feeling, hidden deep behind hedges and the natural landscape of the areae typical house in this neighborhood usually sells at around $2 million, the average house being about 4,500 square feet with 4-6 bedrooms. The whole community is set up to be as residential and convenient as possible. In the village area, you’ll find amazing shopping outlets, eateries and local produce. The laid back community feel is even stronger here, especially compared to neighborhoods like Bel-Air/Beverly Hills part of town.
If you’re looking for something to do in Pacific Palisades, the area has a good mixture of attractions. There’s historic sites, trails, cool architecture, and a lot of beaches. You can visit the Eames House and get a taste for mid century architecture, or go for a walk on California’s hidden Will Rogers Beach. There’s also dazzling parks like the Lake Shrine Temple or one of the many canyon parks further inland.

Additionally, there’s high end boutiques, a movie theater, and lots of areas to enjoy the scene.
All schools in Pacific Palisades are charter schools, which are funded by the LA Unified School District. This means that parents have a wide range of educational options to choose from. Additionally, students from kindergarten through twelfth grade regularly meet English and mathematics standards at rates that are double the state average.
