Reports indicate that former NFL player Clay Matthews has sold his Calabasas mega-mansion to NBA player Trae Young for $20 million.
Ex-linebacker Clay Matthews, formerly of the Green Bay Packers, has reportedly sold his 14,021-square-foot Calabasas home to Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young for $20 million, according to the Wall Street Journal. The sale is said to have taken place last month.
The 14,021-square-foot home, which features seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, was custom-built by Matthews and his wife in 2020. The couple had initially purchased the 1.63-acre property in 2013 for $2.6 million and listed it for sale in 2021 after relocating to Nashville, Tennessee.
The asking price for the mansion was initially set at $29,995,000 but was later reduced to $24,995,000 before being sold to Young through an LLC.
